Welcome to Our Permanent Collection

The RED's permanent collection features artwork created by Detroit-area youth. Works of art were collected by Yvette Rock, founder & CEO of Live Coal Gallery, L.L.C. (now Rock Gallery of Art, LLC) and Executive Director of Live Coal. Rock began acquiring children's art decades ago, but the collection in The RED features work purchased specifically for the gallery since 2012. Live Coal is dedicated to the collection and preservation of artwork created by children. We thank all of you who have donated to us in order to make The RED and our permanent collection possible!
